Epiduo® Gel is easy to use: simply apply it once a day or according to your doctor’s instructions.
To get the best results, follow these steps, either when you wake up or just before bedtime:
Step 1. Wash your face with a gentle, non-soap cleanser, such as a Cetaphil® cleanser. Avoid harsh astringents and scrubs. Gently blot dry your face with a soft towel before application. (Do not rub your face harshly.)
Step 2. Using a pea-sized amount, apply a thin layer of Epiduo® Gel to each affected area of the face (e.g. forehead, chin, each cheek). Avoid your eyes and lips, and the areas near them.
That’s it! Your acne should improve with continued use. (Do not stop using Epiduo® Gel without first alerting your doctor for further instructions.) Regular use will help clear existing acne and can help prevent new pimples.
Remember, less is more. Using a larger amount of medication will not speed up the process, and it could cause irritation. If you have any question about your use of Epiduo® Gel, ask your doctor.
